Do I need an appointment?

We strongly suggest that you make an appointment. We accomodate walk-in patients as best we can, though emergencies are seen immediately. All elective surgeries must be scheduled in advance.

Can I make monthly payments?

No, payment is expected at the time of service. We accept cash, credit cards, and personal checks. Like any small business we cannot finance our clients while keeping our fees affordable. We can help you apply for a CareCredit™ medical financing plan.

We always provide a written estimate of the cost of operations or emergency procedures before treatment.

If you cannot afford prompt payment for veterinary services, please call us at 303-761-0763 so that we can refer you to income-qualifying alternatives.

Will you provide a prescription so that I can have it filled with an Internet or mail order service?

Although we try to accomodate our clients wishes, please keep in mind that the medications we sell are 100% guaranteed to be made in the United States under FDA guidelines. Medications that are available over the Internet, through 800 numbers, or catalogues, do not always offer the same guarantee and may be made offshore without adequate quality control. In order to assure your pets' best health, we strongly encourage you to investigate whether the medications you order for your pet are of the same high quality that we provide.

When in doubt, call or come in.

How do I know my pet needs to see a doctor?

If your pet has trouble breathing, trauma, bleeding, stumbling, seizures, difficulty delivering puppies or kittens, or many types of eye problems, they should be seen right away. Changes in appetite or activity level, vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, sneezing, limping, itching or losing hair, or eyes that look abnormal, are also indications that a visit is warranted. Sometimes it's hard to tell, so please call us at 303-761-7063 and ask to speak to one of our qualified technicians or your regular veterinarian. We would much rather you call too often then let a problem go untreated.
